My name is Kyle Mills, owner of 607 Grappling in Endicott, NY, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, and a United States Air Force combat veteran who deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After returning home from military service, I struggled to find the same sense of purpose and community I had in the military. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu became a positive outlet that helped me grow, heal, and reconnect with others.
That is why the mission of the We Defy Foundation is so important to me. Through scholarship programs, We Defy helps combat veterans coping with military-connected disabilities gain access to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and fitness training, providing opportunities for confidence, community, and personal growth.
As the only approved We Defy Foundation Training Facility in our immediate area, I am proud to support this mission. This Memorial Day, I am asking for your support in helping more veterans discover the same life-changing benefits that Jiu Jitsu provided for me.
Thank you for supporting our veterans and the We Defy Foundation.
