My home is a spice cabinet meaning that neurodivergence is a part of everyday life. My son was diagnosed with autism at an early age and we were blessed with access to many resources to help him navigate his school life. But what we found was that it really just helped him mask his autism in order for others to be comfortable. Nowadays the focus has shifted. He is a successful college student now and let's his autism flag fly.
I run and raise money for autism awareness so that no one should feel excluded and no one should have to mask in order to be accepted for who they are.
