I have been serving on the Foundation For Allen Schools board of directors for many years both as Board President and helping as a volunteer and supporter. Having both boys raised in Allen and educated in Allen ISD I got to see the good the Foundation does for all of our students and teachers and decided I needed to be part of the success.
The Foundation raises money each year to give back to teachers & students through their 3 main programs:
- Student scholarships
- Classroom grants
- Teacher support & recognition
With Covid-19 the Foundation is unable to hold its Fall gala, one of it's most successful fund raisers....instead we are reaching out to our community and ask for them to give back and help us reach our goal of $100,000 by October 5th.
