We have Three Reasons WE BELIEVE in Allen ISD and the Foundation For Allen Schools.

Our first reason is my oldest child, my Daughter, a 2017 Graduate. She was afforded so many opportunities at AISD. She was in the Choir, played basketball, in the ASL club and was a member and Officer of the Allen Colorguard. She took many dual credit courses at  AHS and because of it was able to Graduate from the University of Denver in 3 years. This is allowing her to pursue her graduate degree sooner. Along the way her directors, teachers and coaches were supportive of her goals and aspirations.

Our son, a 2020 Graduate, was also very well supported academically and through his extra curricular activities. He was afforded the opportunity to be in the Escadrille (trumpet), play football and  track (pole vault). All of the Directors and coaches knew his commitment to each and supported his goals all the way through.  He also went the dual credit route and is on track to do the same as his sister.  He received many scholarships including one from the Foundation that we are so very thankful for as it helps with the cost of school.

Last but not least is our Son, a future 2021 graduate. He is also a Special Needs Student.  AISD has been so very helpful in helping him achieve so many things in his lifetime.  He is a member of the Escadrille (percussion) , Best Buddies and Allen Special Olympics. Allen is one of the few districts to include Special Olympics in their curriculums allowing them to compete Athletically like their peers. Allen has taught inclusion from the beginning and it is apparent in his Involvement in these activities. 

This is my first year on the Foundation Board and I could not be more excited. I have served over the years on the Anderson and Curtis PTA's, organized Art to Go, Allen Band Booster Association and Allen Special Olympics. I do all of it for the kids. I think every kid needs a support sytem and a chance to shine. I look forward to helping the Foundation with these goals.

Because of the Pandemic, the Foundation is unable to raise funds in it's traditional events.  We are asking the community to step up and help us raise funds for our 3 programs: (1) Scholarships for our AHS seniors, (2) Grants for Teachers and Staff and (3) Teacher Support and Recognition.

We are an Eagle family through and through. WE BELIEVE in the future of ALL EAGLES, AISD and the Foundation For Allen Schools. Your Support would be so very appreciated and mean so much to us.
