We are raising funds to help improve water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions at Mother Care Day and Boarding Primary School in Busimbi Village, Uganda. The school serves 532 children, from baby class through Primary 7, along with 43 teaching and support staff members. A recent WASH assessment identified urgent needs, including the renovation of the school’s deteriorating latrine block and the installation of additional handwashing facilities near toilets, eating areas, and other critical locations. The school currently has only ten latrine stances—five for girls and five for boys—and just one handwashing station serving the entire school community. Improving these facilities will provide students with a safer, healthier, and more dignified environment in which to learn and grow.
