My Journey with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

My journey with CRPS started with a fall on January 4, 2013.  The CRPS began with burning pain in my left arm but has since spread throughout my body.  I have also developed a number of other health problems including heart, stomach and others that my doctors are still trying to diagnose.  Since January 4, 2013, I have seen countless doctors and tried many, many treatments.  Despite this, my CRPS continues to spread to new areas of my body and into my organs.  Because of these health problems, I have had to discontinue working in my dream job as a Psychologist.  Everyday is a challenge.  Everday I experience the pain, burning, muscle spasms, and swelling of CRPS.  While my life has changed dramatically, I have been fortunate to have the love and support of my family and friends.  For this, I am grateful.  I would not be able to continue on this journey without you!  Although my future looks different, I know that God has good things in store for me and my future will be bright.  Hence, our team name, Everything's Coming Up Roses!
