About Westhaven

For the last eight years, a team of women from the Westhaven community in Franklin, has been privileged to participate in the Women Build. It has enriched our lives in so many ways to have had the chance to be a part of helping families realize their dreams of home ownership.  We feel very fortunate not only to have gotten to know these wonderful families but to have been able to get to know each other better in such a meaningful way.  We are extremely grateful to HFHWM for affording us the opportunity.

This year we are beyond thrilled and excited for the entire community of Westhaven to be sponsoring its own build!  We are eagerly looking forward to as many of our residents getting involved in the building process whether it's volunteering on the build site, participating on the grub team or helping with the fundraising. We can't wait to meet D'Angelo, Tierra and their four children!

We are extremely grateful for all of your help toward achieving our fundraising goal. Special thanks to Southern Land and The Westhaven Foundation.  We wouldn't be able to do this without your support. Thank you!

Hope to see many of you on the build site!

Introducing The Bettis Family

Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury is happy to welcome D'Angelo, his wife, Tierra, and their children Gabriella (7), Arianna (5), Mar'riana (3), and Josiah (1) to the Homeownership Program.

This home is a dream come true for the Bettis family. Although becoming a homeowner has been a lifelong goal for D'Angelo, traditional mortgage options weren't within their means. The family's present living conditions are unsafe for raising a growing family. Their home is overcrowded, leaving their three daughters to share a cramped bedroom.

Through the Habitat Homeownership Program, their children will finally have bedrooms of their own and the Bettis family will have a safe space where they will make lasting memories together.
