Sail on The WaterFront Center Sonars and C420s - all for a great cause!

Create your own team and sign up for $0! Rally your family and friends to help you meet or exceed your fundraising goal. You’ll need to raise at least $75 per sailor—so for a Sonar team of four, that’s $300, and for a C420 team of two, it’s $150. Watch your team climb the leaderboard as you fundraise!

Choose between a Sonar or a C420, and if you need help finding a team, just let us know—we’re here to help! To sail, you must be 15+ years old and have experience sailing.

• Check-in Opens: 10:30 AM at The WaterFront Center 
• CHRISTEEN Boarding: 11:30 AM at The WaterFront Center 
• Racing Starts: 12:00 PM
• 25th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting: 4:30 PM
• Post-Race BBQ: 5:00 PM, Drinks, food, and awards at The WaterFront Center

Adult Sailing: Sonar Fleet Maintenance & Rigging Upgrades

• Replacing standing and running rigging, blocks, and shackles
• Supporting the ongoing care and upkeep of our sonar fleet

Powerboat Fleet: Coach Boat Repairs & New Engines

• Funding major engine repairs and maintenance for our coach boats
• Exploring options for new coach boats to enhance training and safety

Junior Sailing: Big Boat Program & 420 Fleet Support

• Covering race entry fees and winter maintenance for the Junior Big Boat Program
• Helping the team attend a formal Safety at Sea course
• Enhancing the C420 fleet, including better pedestals and protection materials

The WaterFront Center (WFC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Oyster Bay, New York. We provide access to the waters of Oyster Bay Harbor and Long Island Sound through our marine education programs, recreational and instructional sailing programs, paddleboard, kayak and sailboat rentals, and through harbor tours aboard our National Historic Landmark oyster sloop CHRISTEEN and Oyster Dredge IDA MAY. Click to learn more about us!
