Care Net-Houston will be celebrating 35 years of ministry!!! I have not been around that long (or asking for your part in this) but pretty close; over 25 years!!! God continues to bring more women and men seeking help and hope through our doors than ever before. In 2025, across all three locations, we have served over 3,000 women and men, performed 1,600 ultrasounds and witnessed 343 professions of faith. 

To be noted, Disturbing an eagle's nest is a federal offense under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, punishable by fines up to and one year in prison for a first offense. It can cause eagles to abandon eggs or young, resulting in failed nesting and serious legal consequences for the offender. Disturbing a sea turtle nest is a federal offence under the Endangered Species Act, leading to heavy fines up to $100,000, potential prison time, and civil penalties. Disturbing nests or hatchlings can result in egg damage, abandonment of the nest by the mother, and death to hatchlings, which are already highly threatened. How casual we are with our sweet babies safe inside their mom!

Despite Texas lawmaking abortion illegal, abortions in our community have significantly increased, making medical, life-affirming gospel-sharing pregnancy centers more essential than ever. We continue to minister to abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable women and men, offering pregnancy tests, limited obstetric ultrasounds, medical consultations with registered nurses, and peer counseling with faithful volunteers (ME!) to share the gospel. Many women are carrying heavy burdens, financial worries and even abuse making  unexpected pregnancy feel overwhelming.

We provide practical recourses to help meet these challenges, but we know their greatest need is to know Jesus and understand how deeply He loves them, Because of YOUR support, we are able to keep that truth at the center of everything we do. your involvement in the Walk for Life helps Care Net remain a source of hope and light across the community Thanks you for your contributions toward making it all happen!!!

I've been volunteering with Care Net Pregnancy Center for over 25 years now!  I'm so committed to Care Net that although we moved to The Woodlands, I still drive to Cypress each week.  It's such a joy to sit knee to knee with young women in our community who are facing an unplanned pregnancy, to hear their story and offer them hope.  Care Net has so many resources and places to refer women for help, so we're able to reassure them that they are not alone in this journey to motherhood.

I love being able to offer godly wisdom and to share the gospel.  Personally, I love sharing Psalm 139 reminding the girls, God SEES their baby and KNEW about their baby from the beginning of time. :15-16 "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."  It's such a sweet and emotional time when they realized God has his eye on not just their baby but on them too.
