We invite you to join us for this year's Walk for Life, our annual fundraising walk, on May 2nd, 2026 at 8:30 AM in Wasena Park.
Our theme verse this year comes from 1 Corinthians: Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. - 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)
In this moment, we must stand firm for the cause of life. Our culture may constantly move in its stance on the unborn, but we will not be swayed by the moving culture. We are committed to fully giving of ourselves to the work of the Lord here at BRWC. We know that every call, every test, every ultrasound, every interaction, is not in vain. God is using your partnership here to change and save lives.
YOU have helped Blue Ridge Women’s Center preserve four generations of our community! Thousands of lives have been saved from the lies and death grip of the abortion industry. We pray that every woman who walks through our doors doesn’t make an eternal decision based on temporary circumstances.
That's why every visit includes a full presentation of the Gospel, so those we serve can find salvation and hope in a relationship with Jesus Christ – to be able to see possibilities, rather than problems.
Blue Ridge Women's Center is in a unique position to make an impact on the abortion rate in our city through our life-affirming services - but we cannot do it without your support. Your dollars donated and raised through the Walk for Life allows for life-saving services such as options consultations, ultrasounds, and the parenting program to be available to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.
Our invitation to you is this: Think of your family, friends, church family, and invite them to join you as a team and walk with you! If they can't join you day-of, invite them to sponsor you as you Walk for Life. Walkers who raise $100 will earn a free Walk for Life shirt!
We will gather in Wasena Park at 8:30 AM and walk all together starting at 9 AM. We will make a short, two mile loop on the Greenway and conclude where we started, we generally end around 10:30 AM. We'll see you May 2nd, 8:30 AM, in Wasena Park!
