By day, I operate heavy equipment for True Rock, but outside of work, you’ll find me on my bike, at the gym, or giving back to my community. I’m a proud member of K9MC Charlotte, a motorcycle club founded by a group of men who share a love for motorcycles and dogs. Our club isn’t just about riding—we’re committed to feeding the homeless and developing other social and community projects that make a real difference.
Now, I’m taking that passion for giving back to a new cause as a Big Wig for Carolina Breast Friends.
Breast cancer hit close to home when my Aunt Sherry was diagnosed. I saw firsthand how it impacted her life and everyone around her, and I was grateful when she beat her breast cancer. But I know not everyone has the support they need, and that’s where Carolina Breast Friends comes in.
Being a Big Wig gives me the opportunity to introduce an entirely new community to the support that CBF provides. I know the big hearts in my organization, and I’m rallying them to be part of this campaign—to raise money, raise awareness, and show Survivors and Thrivers that they are never alone in this fight.
Where You'll See Me in My Pink Wig
You’ll find me rocking my pink wig:
At the gym (Anytime Fitness) after work, getting in my training
On my bike on the weekends, taking in the open road
At work, operating heavy equipment for True Rock
At my favorite bars (I like them all)
Keeping Wendy’s in business, because good food should be simple
And of course, wherever I can help spread the word about Carolina Breast Friends.
How You Can Help
I’m bringing my K9MC family, my aunt’s National Guard network, and the community together to make an impact. The K9MC Rally on April 4th will be a huge part of my fundraising efforts, with event registrations going directly to CBF.
I’m also recruiting members to join my team, because the more people involved, the more we can do for Survivors and Thrivers.
Join me. Donate, join my team, and help make a difference.
Thank you for your support—this one’s for Aunt Sherry and for everyone on their breast cancer journey. Let’s do this together.
