I am proud to live, work, and play in the Charlotte community—a place that has shown me incredible support throughout my recovery journey. Over two years, I have underwent eight surgeries, each one a step toward healing and resilience. Beating cancer was just the beginning; the road to recovery has been filled with challenges, but also with hope, strength, and unwavering support.
Thanks to CBF, I have received the resources and care needed to navigate this journey. From support with medical procedures to emotional support, their impact has been life-changing. I know firsthand how difficult this path can be, and my heart goes out to those who face it without the same resources—whether it’s time, financial flexibility, or access to care.
As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness, I encourage you to consider how you can support those on this journey. Every story is different, every battle unique, and every act of kindness matters. Sometimes, the best way to help is simply to give grace—allowing friends and loved ones to share their needs and show up for them in ways that matter most.
If you’re looking for a way to make a meaningful difference, consider supporting CBF. Your generosity ensures that others facing breast cancer receive the support, care, and hope they deserve. Together, we can uplift and empower those in need.

It takes bravado to wear a wig for 30 days and I admire Neil's support of his friend and the cause
