I am so excited to be running a 5K in support of the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism at the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend later this year. As a teacher, I get to work with amazing kids with autism every day, and they inspire me constantly with their strengths, personalities, and determination. Being able to run for a cause that connects so closely to my classroom makes it even more special. This race honestly feels like a dream come true because it combines two of my favorite things—Disney and The Aristocats! Getting to run through Disney surrounded by music, characters, and all that magic while supporting such an important cause is just the best feeling.
