CREW Orlando is proud to field a team participating in Women Build 2019 to support Habitat for Humanity Seminole-Apopka. As an organization dedicated to advancing the achievements of women in commercial real estate, CREW Orlando recognizes the critical importance of community involvement. Women Build 2019 offers a unique opportunity for CREW Orlando members to engage in a way that support helping women achieve their full potential.
In Seminole County & Greater Apopka, 63% of single female households, including 24,565 children, live below the poverty level. Poverty and substandard housing are a severe threat to children’s health, growth and potential, and is a key component in the continuing cycle of poverty. Building homes with Habitat for Humanity is a concrete way to address the problem; providing the opportunity for safe, decent and affordable housing and a key ingredient in breaking the cycle of poverty.
As stakeholders in the commercial real estate industry, CREW Orlando is keenly aware of the negative impact unaffordable and inadequate housing has on long-term economic investment and development. Participation in Women Build 2019 will allow CREW Orlando members to make a tangible and impactful difference in the local community.
As a donor, your contribution to CREW Orlando’s fundraising goal will stay within the community. You will be part of the greater CREW Orlando Women Build 2019 team without the requirement of actually attending the build day. CREW Orlando is grateful for your support and could not do this without your generous donation.
