We believe in supporting our community and want to help by building homes so deserving families in need have a better place to live. In Seminole County & Greater Apopka, 63% of single female households, including 24,565 children, live below the poverty level. Building homes with Habitat for Humanity is a concrete way to address the problem by providing the opportunity for safe, decent and affordable housing which are key ingredients in breaking the cycle of poverty.

Habitat's Women Build program recruits, educates, and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent, affordable homes in our community. From fundraising to construction, this group builds or renovates multiple homes each spring. And guys are welcome to participate.

Come join in the fun by fundraising, participating in construction on our build day (Saturday May 11th) and/or making a personal tax deductible donation to this worthy cause. It is awesome to participate in this rewarding experience.
