World Coma Day is an all-day global online event featuring stories of remarkable recovery, science talks by medical experts, educational sessions for patients and families, and "shout out" videos from providers, patients, and families around the world.
This year, the World Coma Day sessions are available on-demand on YouTube for you to watch and share whenever you choose! With in-depth presentations by medical professions, inspirational patient Stories of Hope, and fun shout-out videos, you can view each throughout the day and throughout the year on your own schedule.

Join Us for Live Talks During World Coma Day
Join us via Zoom throughout March 22nd to participate in the following live discussions, led by leading experts in the neurocritical care field! Discussions will be led by the Neurocritical Care Society's regional chapter leaders on topics important to their region and field of study.
- Live virtual discussion sessions throughout the day over Zoom
- In-person lecture in Chicago at the International Museum of Surgical Science

Calling all Future Neurons!
We invite all students ages 8-18 with an interest in the brain to submit a shout-out video focusing on what Curing Coma means to you! Videos will be reviewed and the top selections will recieve a prize!

World Coma Day is an all-day global online event featuring stories of remarkable recovery, science talks by medical experts, educational sessions for patients and families, and "shout out" videos from providers, patients, and families around the world.
The objectives of World Coma Day are to:
- Raise awareness of coma as a treatable and recoverable clinical entity
- Encourage medical providers and patients/patient advocates to get involved in the Curing Coma®
- Motivate caregivers to participate in specific current and future scientific efforts devoted to curing disorders of consciousness
Registration is FREE! Suggested donation is optional. All donations are tax-deductible.
Your donation will be used to sponsor research and education aimed at improving the care and treatment of brain diseases and injuries, with a particular focus on developing a cure for coma.
