Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation's 2026 Unite Walk

For almost 30yrs myself, my children, and grandchildren have lived with a bleeding disorder called Von Willebrand. We have trouble clotting if we get an injury and can suffer internal bleeding. With the use of medications, ice, and great Hemophlia doctors we can manage it.

However, thousands of kids and adults affected face costly treatments and a lifelong journey of infusions.

We've set out on a journey to make people aware of these bleeding disorders and one is through the annual Unite For Bleeding Disorders Walk held in September here in North Park Pittsburgh.
