No more Mr. Nice Guy!

     OK – here’s where the appropriate, PC, CEOish-worried-about-appearances Dan Harrison says farewell and really lets it rip:  I want our friggin’ Team to be successful, damn it!! 

     Truth be told, I’m way more competitive than people realize, but every year swallow the bitter pill of disappointment and accept poor CUBICS’ less than stellar ranking.  I do this because a) I know no other way; and b) I know that the collective success of NuPath belongs to us all. 

     In fact, it could be argued that this whole organization is actually “my Team,” and that we are all successful because of my pathological cheerleading, communication and willingness to go to any length (i.e., climbing on roofs) to subject myself to embarrassing videos that are emailed to thousands of NuPath stakeholders in support of our cause.

     Last year CUBICS Crusade ranked 11th and raised $1,889, thanks to my family, friends and colleagues like Karen Sullivan who joined the fight and made eleventh place feel like gold .  The problem is that deep in my heart I know we can do better.

   To my family, friends and loved ones who helped support our cause last year, I thank you in advance for your participation again this year.  You are all heroes in my book!

     To those vendors, consultants and contractors who did not donate last year and yet…well…let’s just say benefit greatly (perhaps financially?) all year long from my willingness to process invoices, authorize payment and sign their checks?  Well, let’s just say it’s time you give back a little love to the man and donate today to Team Cubics’ 

    I would not only be a smart business investment, it would make this guy extremely happy!
