Maggie the Laboratory Beagle

Help animals like Maggie! 

Maggie came in to our center and I knew withing minutes that I had to bring her home. This sweet girl came from a facility in the east coast that breeds beagles for laboratory purposes. I found this out through the tattoo (ID number) she had tattooed on the inside of her left ear. There was no question in my mind that I had to give this girl the life she deserved. It took maggie a few weeks to open up at home, but she did bond with my daughter immediately! It took some time for her to figure out how to be a dog haha. She has made lots of friends on her journey and now LOVES playing with her dog friends and human sister. Seeing her grow with her doggy friends at work, I knew I had to get her a furry friend for home of course! Thats when we adopted our puppy Harlow. They are just the best of friends and they love cuddling and sleeping together and wrestling all day! Watching Maggie blossom from a fearful laboratory dog to a family dog has been so rewarding for me. Please consider donating to help more pets like Maggie find their forever homes!
