Updates:
Friday, November 14, 2025 – With the federal government now reopened, we are grateful that SNAP services are expected to resume. Given the disruption in payments over this month and increasing food needs over the holidays, WWVHRC will continue accepting donations of food and funds through November to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
Since launching this effort, together we have:
- Raised $68,054.73 to make sure individuals and families in our region have the food they need.
- Provided $40,075, and allocated an additional $8,200, in direct food assistance (via food cards to local grocery stores) to more than 430 impacted individuals and families in Walla Walla County.
- Provided $3,425 in direct food assistance (via food cards to local grocery stores) to 32 impacted individuals and families in Garfield County.
- Provided $3,900 in direct food assistance (via food cards to local grocery stores) to 35 impacted individuals and families in Columbia County.
Additional funds raised via WWVHRC will help purchase food for distribution to local food pantries and meal programs. Thank you for your continued support.
