I have always wondered what to do when I see someone begging for money on the corner of an intersection. Should I give them money, food or just a friendly wave and smile? Would giving them cash actually help them in the long run?

Well, Catholic Charities is officially building a women's shelter in Denver. I know that I can make an impact on hundreds of women's lives by donating time, talent and treasure. 

Homeless women are physically abused every day. These women try to find places to sleep that they hope are safe and warm but often fall short of these basic necessities.

We can help them find that place right here with Catholic Charities.
