On average, a homeless woman is assaulted once a week on the streets. Our new shelter will not only provide a safe place for them to rest, but it will also offer the first step to exit homelessness. The 50 bed "next step" area is designed to give these women a starting point in which they can begin building a life. Please consider partnering with us on this important (life saving) mission.
Catholic Charities is an incredible organization in Denver helping countless men, women, and families not only get off the streets for a night, but learn how to get off the streets for a lifetime.
Their next project is to open a new women's shelter that can provide a safe and loving atmosphere throughout their rehabilitation process. Catholic Charities provides services for women in all stages of their lives, whether they are alone and without a home, pregnant, new mothers, in need of medical services, and/or searching for employment and stable housing. There are numerous resources for the homeless through the Samaritan House, and with our team's help and generous donors, we can progress the current programs, build new facilities, extend our reach, and give back the dignity to these women who are in desparate need.
