I'm running a 5K on Saturday, August 22nd as a fundraiser for my NGO, VGIF. Most of you know how much I love my job and VGIF's mission to empower women and girls around the world. Honestly, it would mean the world to me if you support my efforts. You can do so by donating to my page, registering to run with me, or by cheering me along from the sidelines!

VGIF provides small grants to grassroots projects that advance the rights of women and girls around the world. What I find unique about us is that we rely on local leaders - almost all of them women - to identify, design, and implement projects that best address communty needs and empower local women and girls. Since 1969, VGIF has funded over 515 projects in 93 countries that have impacted nearly 232,000 women and girls.
