I have been a long time supporter for Youth Services Bureau.
I've been involved for so long because it is completely unacceptable to me that a young child, particularly 12 - 21 years of age does not feel safe and supported. They don't know their value and they don't know what to do in this crazy world of ours, let along how to feel and get over years of possible abuse and neglect. It. is. unacceptable.
With that I ask you to listen to the stories of what youth experience within our OWN community and consider donating to this organization. Donate money. Donate things. Donate time. Donate your awareness. The shelter needs us. The young moms and babies need us. The young adults need guidance to see themselves fully and a path to security.
After all the pandemic has done to community - this is one thing we CAN do!
