Nicholas' Zipping for Autism Page

My name is Nicholas Hemachandra. I love ziplining and I'm excited about zipping with Team Nicholas at Zipping for Autism 2018 on June 3 to raise money for autism services!

This year, ZFA is benefiting Lakey Gap Autism Programs and FIRST Resource Center. Both of these organizations have helped me personally over the years. With the money raised, they will fund services for autistic children and adults in Western North Carolina—camp scholarships, social programs for children and adults, vocational training, outreach to the underserved Hispanic autism community, and in-home support training for families with young autistic children.

It's a big year for me: I turn 18 in September. I am doing volunteer internships at the YMCA and Sky Zone Trampoline Park. Thank you so much for supporting me as I zip for autism as part of Team Nicholas!

You can read some articles about autism, neurodiversity, and me on the Ray Hemachandra website.
