Emmeline Mae is one of those kids that you can't help smiling at when you spend time with her.  She is so incredibly wonderful and I am happy to be her Godmother. As a bonus, she is BFF's with my Daughter, Sky and I am blessed that they get to learn and grow so closely together. 

Like many of you, Down Symdrome was non-exsistent in my life and it was a huge surprise when my BFF told me that her little one had an extra chromosome. However, I can't express enough that she ended up with the perfect parents and an amazing support system. 

The Down Syndrome Awareness Walk is an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for a great cause. I get to see on a weekly basis how wonderful AND challenging it is so have a little one with Down Syndrome. It is vital that we as a community continue to help spread love and education about Down Syndrome. It is also vital that we have organizations like DSAW to support the children, adults and parents that live Down Syndrome.
