A little more than two years ago, our son Nolan Jeffery was born. At birth, Nolan was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. From his handsome almond shaped eyes, to his loveable personality, Down Syndrome has shaped a part of who he is. The Annual DSAW Walk is so important to our family, because it is a reminder of how incredible each and every individual with Down Syndrome is. Being able to celebrate people's differences is such a beautiful part of life, and we hope you will join Nolan and us for this HUGE celebration. Nolan and his crew on will be at the Milwaukee County Zoo Sunday, September 23rd. The party starts at 10am, so we try and be there a little before that time. If you register far enough in advance, we will pick-up shirts ahead of time and bring them that day so you don't have to worry about them not having a shirt for you or waiting in line. We will meet by the picnic tables closest to the red carpet. Please register by August 31st, to be guarenteed a t-shirt for the day of the walk.
