Thank you for being a part of our amazing journey. When we first received the diagnosis for our Evelyn, fear and questions took over. Through communities like DSAW, we were able to get questions answered, start supports for her life, and understand that there really was nothing to fear after all. Each child is unique, and the same applies for children who have DS. As most of you know, Evelyn has quite the personality. She is spunky, stubborn, smart, and oh so loving. She loves to read-- catch her with a book and you won't hear from her for hours! She loves to help me cook. Of the many jobs she wishes to have in the future, some of them include chef, gymnast, Starbucks barrista, and doctor. Everywhere we go, she finds a new career path! She is such a blessing, and we are so thankful for the support of our family and friends over the last eleven years. This support, as well as organizations like DSAW, have given us so much love and guidance. It is an honor to help fundraise on behalf of them for their annual zoo walk. Like us, many of you have been personally touched by the lives of these individuals. We are proud to be part of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin's 30th Annual Statewide Down Syndrome Awareness Walk because it means so much to us and to our family.
