Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page! We are proud to be part of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin's 30th Annual Statewide Down Syndrome Awareness Walk because it means so much to us and to our family. 

Abby and Jasper (aka "Jabby") have been dating for more than 7 years already! They started dating when they were just 14 years old and have been going strong ever since.  They have been participating in DSAW for many years, this is Abby's 20th year fundraising for DSAW through its annual awareness walk -- raising well over $100,000!!  

They are both living their best lives and thriving in the community. Abby lives in her own apartment, has great house and roommates, works at Texas Roadhouse, has many wonderful friends and is a staunch self-advocate. She has spoken at the State Capital, gotten bills passed, speaks regularly at awareness events, and teaches a weekly Pathways to Independence class to oher self-advocates. 

Jasper is the first person with Down syndrome to EVER attend UW-Milwaukee for credit, receiving straight A's on his American Sign Lanuage classes; is an avid actor; enjoys making Vlogs; amd recently got a job working in custodial services.  He advocates for all humans, including the LGBTQ community and loves to hang with his friends at DSAW, Pink Umbrella, and Islands of Brilliance. 

DSAW has meant so much to their lives.  Both Abby and Jasper enjoy DSAW's family and self advocate events like Community Connections; attend DSAW's Community Life Skills Hub for programming; use DSAW's employment services to get jobs and provide job coaching, and so much more!! DSAW's largest annual fundraising event is so important!! Please consider supporting our team in any way you can.
