Get your glow gear ready. It's time to WERQ Hard, Play Hard at Evansville's 8th annual Glow for Kids' Sake charityWERQ benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of SW Indiana!

This year, we’re leveling up the energy with Glow for Kids' Sake 2026: Battle Royale!

WERQ (pronounced “work”) is the wildly addictive cardio dance workout based on the hottest pop and hip-hop music, led by certified fitness professionals. WERQ believes in working hard and giving back to the community, and we are thrilled to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) to raise funds for this incredible organization. BBBS changes lives by helping children realize their potential and build their futures. Through BBBS charityWERQs, WERQaholics strengthen communities and bring people together to dance and make a difference.

WERQ also believes in playing hard- and this year’s interactive showdown is going to be epic!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞:
Across 4 Quarters, 6 move categories will go head-to-head on the dance floor:

🌊 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐒 (Body Rolls, Waves, and Whines)
👏 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒 (Upper-Body Arm Pumps & Claps)
🦵 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒 (Squats & Leg Power)
✨ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐄𝐒 (Shoulder Shimmies, Chest Vibrations & Fast Isolations)

After each quarter, 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲! Cast your floor vote at the end of each block to help crown the overall Champion Move by the final buzzer.

Expect blacklight glow lighting and decor, a heart-pounding playlist, 50/50 raffle, snacks, and your fellow WERQaholics. Don't let the fun atmosphere fool you-this is a WORKOUT (or as we like to call it- a WERQout)! Non-dancers and dancers alike will sweat to easy-to-follow, high-energy routines led by local and visiting WERQ Instructors. No previous WERQ or dance experience is needed!

• 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 – 𝟑:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 | 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 & 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞: Arrive right at 3:00 PM (2:45 PM for our VIZ ticket holders) to check in, pick up your event t-shirt, hit our DIY Customization Station (fringe, crop, or style your shirt how you like!), deck yourself out in glow paint and accessories, hit up the selfie station, enter the raffle, and find your spot on the dance floor!
• 𝟑:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 – 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 | 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐐𝐨𝐮𝐭: 4 quarters of dancing and voting.
• 𝟓:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 – 𝟓:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 | 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐞𝐫: Refuel with some snacks while we crown the Champion Move, 50/50 drawing, group photo, and wrap-up!

Wear your brightest NEON workout gear so you glow under the blacklights! Register by September 4, 2026 to be guaranteed an official event t-shirt. Registrations after this date will receive an event shirt on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
