About This Event

Geared towards students in grades 3-6, this class will teach woodworking safety and the use of hand tools including handsaw, hammer, screwdriver, and sandpaper.

We keep our volunteer:student ratio as close to 1:2 as possible. If you want to stay to assist your student, we ask that you go through our volunteer onboarding process prior to attending with your student. You can start that process here.

The student will complete 1 project in the duration of the 4 classes. Due to the high demand of this class, we ask that your student attend one session per semester.
