About Coach Austin
Coach Austin brings a proven background in winning, player development, and program building. He was part of the historic 2015–16 University of Arkansas Little Rock team that finished 30–5 and defeated Purdue in the first round of the NCAA March Madness tournament.
After his time at Little Rock, Coach Austin built an AAU program and skill development business, training and mentoring high-level players — including NBA talent such as Kel'el Ware of the Miami Heat. As an AAU coach, he helped place dozens of athletes at the Division I, II, and III levels.
Coach Austin then transitioned into college coaching, spending four years as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II Frostburg State, where he helped lead the program to its first MEC Tournament appearance in school history. He later became a head college coach, developing a Player of the Year, a Freshman of the Year, and six All-Conference players.
