I’m thrilled to be participating in Celebrate 10 Years of Going Above and Beyond, a fundraiser supporting Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center! This is worthy cause and I hope you'll help! Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts this important cause.

Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center is a Level I-II outpatient addiction treatment center on the West Side of Chicago that is redefining recovery. They offer evidence-based, compassionate substance use treatment and prevention services at no cost to patients regardless of ability to pay. They eliminate barriers to care by serving everyone on a walk-in, same-day basis, including those without insurance or identification. Patients work with their counselor to create an individualized treatment plan, which includes over twenty groups to choose from. These include AA, SMART Recovery, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Overcoming Procrastination, Family Trauma, Yoga, Acupuncture and more. They believe that addiction is a symptom of deeper, more complex problems that can be effectively addressed in a loving and positive environment that promotes growth following trauma. 

Most importantly, they continue walking with their patients even after they walk out their doors. In addition to their strong Alumni Group, alumni have access to all of their free services for life.  

As rates of homelessness and untreated substance use and mental health disorders continue to climb in Chicago, your donation helps ensure those most in need receive the best care available.
