Mentors Make Waves

Not every boy has someone to show him the way. Too many are growing up without a positive male role model, someone to encourage them, challenge them, and remind them that they're capable of more than they realize. That's why the 100 Wave Challenge means so much to me. This isn't just about catching 100 waves. It's about creating opportunities for boys to build confidence, develop resilience, and spend time with men who are willing to invest in their lives. It's about teaching respect, accountability, perseverance, and the belief that your circumstances don't have to define your future.

100 Wave Challenge: Saturday, September 26, 2026

On Saturday, September 26, I'll be paddling out at Mission Beach to take on the 17th Annual 100 Wave Challenge in support of Boys to Men Mentoring.

The goal is simple: catch 100 waves in one day to help provide life-changing mentorship for boys across San Diego County. Every wave represents hope, resilience, and the power of showing up for the next generation.

Boys to Men Mentoring connects teenage boys with positive male mentors who help them build confidence, navigate life's challenges, and discover their potential. Together, they're creating a community where no young man has to face life alone.
