Parking Note: Parking for the race is available throughout the park. Volunteers will be on hand to direct participants to available spaces. Arrive early to avoid walking from a more distant lot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I bring my dog?
A. Yes! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun. Please sign up under our Doggie Division option. And please also make sure your pup is up-to-date on vaccinations and comfortable in crowds. We’ll have water stations for both people and pups.
Q. Do I have to run?
A. Not at all. Walkers, joggers, and stroller-pushers are all encouraged. This is a fun, family-friendly event — move at your own pace!
Q. Will there be awards?
A. Yes! We offer awards for top finishers by age group and gender. Note: participants who select “Prefer not to say” for gender may not be eligible for gender-based awards due to timing system limitations.
Q. Is the course timed?
A. Yes, the 5K is officially timed and results will be posted online after the race.
