I’m running the Paws & Claws 5K again this year in memory Buddy, who we adopted from this very shelter in 2013 and sadly said goodbye to in 2024. For more than a decade, he was a loyal companion and a much-loved part of our family. Supporting the shelter that brought Buddy into our lives feels like a fitting way to honor his memory and help give other animals the same chance to find a family of their own. Every mile I run and every donation made is in memory of Buddy.
