This is not the worst year of my life. The worst would have been when Elizabeth made the decision to end her life. Our intellect and our brain can be rational and know answers and so much more information is now available. However, our heart always feels the loss and pain.

This year is different from any other. We have learned to do things differently: some good, some not so good, and sometimes we just tolerate. For many teens this is the worst year for them. Depression and anxiety are prominent in their lives: suicide should not be their choice. The WITH HOPE Foundation provides educational programs to middle and high school youth, parents and community, as well as life-saving crisis intervention. This year’s fundraising event is different. A Virtual Walk will take place March 13—28. The purpose is the same and the need is even greater
