Thank you for joining us in our 8th year of fundraising for epilepsy research in memory of Scott. For those who didn’t have a chance to meet Scott… let me tell you about him! Scott and I are twins, he loved superheroes, especially Spiderman, he enjoyed playing hockey, and one of his favourite hobbies was driving his golf cart. Scott was born with Down Syndrome and 5 holes in his heart. He was later diagnosed with epilepsy. Scott had his first grand-mal seizure on May 20, 2018. He had his second 8 days later, and his third 10 days after that. We had 18 days to try to figure out what was causing these seizures, but ultimately ran out of time. Scott never let any of his diagnoses slow him down and either did we. Scott continues to be the center of all our favourite family stories. He’s forever missed, and we’re so grateful for all the support we’ve received. We’ve raised $23,630 collectively since he’s passed, and we’re proud to participate in another year of 1 in 100.
