I’m taking part in the Red Shoe Society's Annual PLANE PULL that benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. As a participant, I’m raising funds via donations from friends and family to help the children and families at the House in Greenville, SC.
When my friend Justin's son, Paul, was born prematurely in Austin, TX, they stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. They've told me it was a relief to not have to think about where to stay, what to eat, or even having to run to Target for things like laundry detergent -- the House took care of it all so they could focus on Paul.
