Our 5 year old son Rowan has Epilepsy. He has been flown to Children’s Hospital twice in the past 3 years due to the severity of his seizures. He has also had seizures while in the ICU at Children’s Hospital.

Rowan takes medication daily to prevent/limit seizure activity. We also carry an emergency medicine with us wherever we go just in case he has a seizure.

Epilepsy is unpredictable and terrifying. We walk tonight to help raise money for research as there is still so much unknown about seizures and epilepsy.
