Welcome to Kayleigh's Shining Stars!

Kayleigh is the force behind Kayleigh's Shinging stars. She is a strong, creative, awesome 14 year old, who never ceases to amaze us!

Kayleigh was diagnosed with epilepsy in December of 2011, after having a Grand Mal seizure in her 1st grade classroom at school. 

Since then, she has been on several different meds, numerous tests done, many, many trips to the neurologist, stays at Children's hospital, and has gotten to know the Ambulance crews in Willmar pretty well. Lol! (They are an amazing crew, that's for sure!)

This past school year has been a tough one, as Kayleigh's seizures have increased, and caused her to worry more about having them at school. After several injuries, missed days of school, and frustrations, Kayleigh has decided that this year especially "it seems like a really good year to do something good with something kind of crappy."

We are doing a garage sale fundraiser again this year, towards the end of July, and of course, donations are also welcome via our team page!
