I am so excited to be part of Junior Achievement!  It is an honor to help teach the kids of Wells County about business and how they can impact their local communities.  That is why I am joining Junior Achievement and their golf marathon.  Anyone who knows me knows that if golf is involved I will be there.

When I was first asked to teach JA to elementary kids I was totally nervous.  What would I teach the kids about money and entrepreneurship?  But after I got the curriculum that JA put together it was all there.  They had the lessons all planned out and even included the objects needed for fun games that were engaging for the kids and fun at the same.  It even allowed me to use some local examples and made it more alive for the kids.  In today's society I feel that it is super important that we teach them about business and how to handle money.  There are other kinds of lessons that the teacher can pick from also.  The teachers are great to work with too.  They are always excited and supportive to have a JA volunteer come in and lead the lessons for the kids.

The funds that I raise will be going straight back to the Wells county area JA.  If you would like to make an impact in the kids of our community, please help me raise money for them by sponsoring me in the JA golf marathon this year.  I will be playing 100 holes in 1 day.  It is Thursday May 26, 2022.  I have not even played 1 hole yet this year, so this will be fun!  I used to do this when I was a kid, except I was walking the whole time.  Of course, we will be taking carts.  You can sponsor either as a fixed amount or you can say I will donate per hole that you play that day.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me at 260-227-0742 or you can contact JA.  Thanks for considering this opportunity to help make a difference in the life of children in our area.
