Does it cost anything to participate?

Yes - $25 for adults, $10 for children ages 11-17, and free for kids ages 10 and under.  Registration fees will directly benefit STAR's programs and services.  Click here to sign up today!

If you're unable to attend the Walk, consider making a donation to support your favorite participant, team, or a general gift in support of the event. Your gift of any size will help provide 24/7 critical services for Survivors.

Is this only for men?

This event is for EVERYONE - men, women, kids... even dogs!  The more people we have, the more conversations we have about what we can all do to prevent and end sexual violence, the better.

Can I wear my own shoes?

You certainly can - if you have a pair of heels that you would love to show off at the event, please do!  We will also have a range of sizes of shoes you can borrow.  Participants who raise $250 or more will be provided the WALK signature red pumps.  We will have men's sizes 10-16 available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

What is the schedule for the day?

11:00 - Check-in & bib pickup

11:45 - Welcome & opening remarks

12:00 - Walk starts

1:00 - Recognition and awards ceremony for best shoes, top fundraisers in individuals and teams, and first finisher.

2:00  - Pack up and go enjoy the rest of a beautiful Alaskan Summer day!

YES!  It takes a small army of caring individuals to make this event run smoothly.  Check out all the volunteer opportunities here.
