Why I Walk

I am running/walking this year because I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 28 weeks with Lilly and around 20 weeks with Cecilia. Lilly was an emergency c-section due to the complications I was experiencing due to preeclampsia. We were incredibly fortunate to have had excellent care to ensure healthy baby & mom, this is not always the case. The more people support research & education about it- we will be able to ensure happy and healthy outcomes for all.
