We are participating in Dash for Dravet to benefit the Dravet Syndrome Foundation, an organization that represents a cause very important to us.

Dravet Syndrome Foundation is an organization that provides family support and much needed funds for research.

As many of you know, Kate suffers from this disorder. Dravet Syndrome is a rare and severe form of intractable Epilepsy. It also comes with developmental disabilities along with behavior and sleep issues.

• Rare - Kate is 1 in 15,000
• Severe -  Kate has 5 different seizure types. She also has had seizures that lasted up to 70 minutes
• Intractable - Kate is on several different seizure medications because Dravet Syndrome is extremely hard to control and many of the available medications do not work
