Preeclampsia is a serious disease related to high blood pressure during pregnancy that takes the lives of 76,000 mothers and 500,000 babies each year worldwide. It can happen to any pregnant woman during the second half of her pregnancy, or up to six weeks after delivery. Right now, there’s no known cure for preeclampsia or way to prevent it. That’s why we walk.

     10am - Registration begins

     10:30am - 1 mile loop along the waterfront for kids, adults, strollers, etc.

     11:15am - Kids 40 yard dash in the grass on Pier A

     11:30am - Gain insights from local experts on the latest research in preeclampsia

     11:45am - Be inspired by personal stories to raise awareness for all

     Noon-1pm -  Enjoy some family friendly activites + light refreshments
