Have you always wanted to attend the CJD Foundation Family Conference but are concerned about costs? With support from our donors, the CJD Foundation is offering assistance to a limited number of patient family members who wish to attend the 2025 CJD Foundation Family Conference in person and are seeking financial assistance for conference expenses.

Complete an application telling us why you wish to attend the conference (or select one of three other topics) and what expenses you need assistance with. Email your completed application (using Microsoft word, NOT handwritten) to help@cjdfoundation.org by Tuesday, April 22. Travel Grant Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, first come, first served. Applicants will be notified by Thursday, May 15.

Our review committee will consider these responses when reviewing applications.

1. Why do you wish to attend the CJD Foundation Family Conference? How would you use the information and experience you gain there?
2. What is your mission or your plan to help make a difference in the Prion Disease community?
3. Did you work with the CJD Foundation when your loved one was ill? In what ways did that make a difference in your caregiving experience?
4. Please share your family’s experience with Prion Disease and how it influenced your desire to support the Prion Disease community in the future.
