I remember being a little boy, dwarfed by the giant goalie cage, just learning the ropes of water polo. That awkward kid has grown into a passionate goalkeeper, a journey fueled by countless hours of training and the unwavering support from my incredible coaches, parents, family, and everyone who believed in me. I am immensely grateful for the opportunities USA Water Polo's Olympic Development Program (ODP) has provided, allowing me to participate in high-level tournaments and camps, experiences that have shaped me into the player I am today. Just recently, I competed at the 2025 USA ODP Nationals with the Pacific Zone Team. At the end of this tournament, I received one of the most prestigious awards an ODP athlete can receive, the “Nick Johnson Inspiration Award”. This award is given to one member on the team that fully embodies the vision and values of the Olympic Development Program through selflessness, sportsmanship, dedication, and resilience. I am extremely honored to have received this distinguished award. I am also especially thrilled and honored to have been invited to the National Team Selection Camp happening April 25th-27th. As a participant in this prestigious evaluation, I'm reaching out to ask for your support in raising funds for USA Water Polo. Unlike other countries, Team USA's ODP is not funded through government support or by the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC). This means every dollar I raise, contribute, and give directly fuels the pipeline and development of our next generation's greatest water polo players (and that's me!), driving growth, opportunities, and successes for our sport and its bright future.
