I'm thrilled to be running the Chicago Marathon in October 2025, not just to challenge myself but to make a meaningful impact by supporting Erika’s Lighthouse. As a former high school teacher, I know how crucial it is for young people to have access to mental health resources. Erika’s Lighthouse is dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and empowering teens with tools, resources, and inclusive programs that bring hope and support into schools and communities. Their work ensures that no young person has to face mental health challenges alone. My goal is to raise $1,500 to help Erika’s Lighthouse continue its mission, and your support, no matter the amount, can make a difference. Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
