Do It For The Little Minds!

Hello friends and family! For my first marathon, I will be running and raising money for an organization that is near and dear to my heart - Erika's Lighthouse. Adolescent mental health is extremely prevalent in both my professional life as a school psychologist in Chicago Public Schools, as well as my personal life. Seeing the ways in which depression impacts children and their families has inspired me to be a voice for kids struggling to find their own. Throughout this next year, I challenge myself, and those around me, to further support and bring awareness to child and teenage mental health. See you at the finish line in 2025!

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
